It is observed they in many industries the whole compressed air system is being operated at higher pressure when all Major requirements are of low pressure and a small requirement is of high pressure, where the quantity is not more than 50 or 100 cfm. For the fulfillment of this small requirement the complete system is operated at high pressure, which results in heavy energy loss, excess wear and tear, excess breakdown etc.
